John Allen in Shelburne
Any experience with this shop? I've heard very good things, but also that it can get pricey. I'm not opposed to paying as long as the work is solid. Any help would be appreciated.

John has been an independent MB shop since the early 1970s. Very very capable. Bill Cosby and other famous folks who live in the Berkshires have John service their cars. I thought the shop was in Greenfield, but it's near the Shelbourne Falls town line.
Back in 2000 or so, the last time I owned an MB, John wasn't taking on new customers. If that's still the case, you might consider my old business partner John Robison in Springfield. New England?s independent source for sales and service of European automobiles. - Neil
