Little House subversives

The Little House on the Prairie author was a sort of libertarian matriarch

Laura Ingalls Wilder is a bestselling author again, 83 years after she began publishing her Little House on the Prairie books and 58 years after her death at age 90. Pioneer Girl: The Annotated Autobiography is a 472-page edition of Wilder’s original memoir, for which she couldn’t find a publisher in 1930.

The Legacy of Laura Ingalls Wilder, One of America's First Libertarians

By the link title I though this would be about Laura being a libertarian firebrand, but it's not, is it? It's about her daughter. Still pretty cool.

Yeah, article tries to make the link by saying the daughter learned from Laura and that Laura's books speak to libertarian principles. The first is kind of fuzzy and I have never read any of her books, so I wouldn't know about the literature's message. Michael Landon will always be Little Joe. Not the dude on the prairie.
