His standard being if he did it it's right.

Biggest problem is at State. Is why dems are dragging their feet on approving some 200 positions that require senate approval.Trump wants to make changes at state and Obama people still there aren't happy their little world may change. Is most likely the leakers.

I'll bet Lewondowski is the guy who dropped a dime on Manefort. Lewondowski is an ex cop who had been displaced by Manefort. Lewondowski got the goods and informed Trump. Buh-bye Manifort.

I made that up. I hope that Mr Mueller proves my speculation accurate. That should get me a free cup of coffee down at the general store where we conduct political analysis.

I guess that is a good position to take if you have the option. I doubt the voters will buy it but since that is the only option you have go with it.

He is being attacked because he is a pathological liar who could not lead anyone out of a paper bag.

OH yea. The left wing conspiracy. That has been tried once. Did not work too well. There has been stuff all over the news showing that the GOP is fighting among itself. Hardly the liberals fault that the GOP elected extremists into office.

Really? Are you sure? According to this article as of June 45 only has 12 people waiting for confirmation at the state dept. As of the writing of the article, only 81 in total are awaiting confirmation. As the article pointed out, 45 may have made a flurry of appointments in July since there is a dead line to nominate people or the position may have to go unfilled.

By the way, remind me again who has control of Congress? While the Dems can slow the process, they do not have the numbers to stall it. So blaming 45 incompetence on the Dems just does not fly.

Do you have an sources to prove there were 180+ nominations made over the last month at the state dept?

Here is a NYT article from Jul 2oth. According to this, 45 only has 3 cabinet level positions at State pending before Congress.

Dems were dragging out many nominations to 30 days which I think is the senate rule.....but they don't have to go that long, plus some mickey mouse 'tickets' from committee that have to be filed also.

Right before break, senate approved some 75 positions.....a new world record?

There's something like 200 positions at state that haven't been filled.

They claim Trump has been slow in providing nominations, is he obligated to fill every vacancy or eliminate many he sees as too many?

The most effective way to change gov policy is to change appointees. The most effective way to change policy IMPLEMENTATION is to change SES. Trump has been slow at both.

It could be that Trump isn't terribly interested in a wholesale change or he is having difficulty recruiting. The Senate Democrats are impeding the process once they get nominees.

You keep mentioning the 200 positions that have not been filled. According to 2 sources I linked, there is nothing to substantiate that claim. There are 3 cabinet positions at State awaiting confirmation.

Yes the dems are slowing up the process. Yet even if Congress were to confirm every nomination, 45's administration would still have more holes in it than Swiss Cheese because he is way behind on nominations.
