Mueller's Russian Headache

Discover gonna hurt Mueller.....Stay tuned.....

WASHINGTON, D.C. — Lawyers for Russian company Concord Management and Consulting, LLC, formally entered a “not guilty” plea in federal court Monday in a case Special Counsel Robert Mueller probably never thought would happen.

Mueller generated headlines with the February indictment, safe in the knowledge the 13 Russians were beyond U.S. jurisdiction. Therefore, there would be no trial — only sensational Russian collusion accusations.

The Russian company’s lawyers intend to invoke “discovery” to obtain U.S. intelligence about what they knew of Russian activities.

“He thought it could make this association (of Russian collusion) and it would never be challenged in court,” McCarthy, a National Review contributing editor, said after the proceeding.

U.S. District Court Judge Dabney Friedrich agreed with Concord and rejected Mueller’s request for a delay in the trial without comment, which led to Wednesday’s arraignment.

Be a kick in the butt if discovery produces no russian collusion.

Then what?

Dems sue the russians for ruining their narrative?

I doubt he would have made the indictment unless able to prosecute the thing.

One would hope.

OTOH, the suspects were totally protected from extradition so the indictments were under no threat. Mueller could have thought they were low fruit and offer no contest. In which case he may have overstepped. Now he has to show what he’s got. All other parties will find this very informative.

Don't we love living in this country?
Where else on earth you get to witness a show like this.
What a ride!

I can't wait for the day, when Mueller is leaving Washing-Town with his tail tucked in tightly.

There will be some tails tucked in tight. Count on it.

I can’t imagine anybody will be forced to disclose sensitive info to the Russians.

Under federal law, prosecutors are required to present counsel of the accused with all evidence, including potentially exculpatory evidence.

One of Mueller’s lawyers was involved in a case in which he failed to do just that. The defense appealed on those grounds. The appeals court reversed the convictions and I believe sanctioned the prosecutor.

Mueller was totally unprepared and caught off guard by the Russians and requested a delay which the Rusky's argued he obtained and filed indictments and should be ready.....Unfortunately for Mueller, the judge agreed.

I'm leaning on the 'you can get a grand jury to indict a ham sandwich' view regarding what he had for evidence.

Russian's wouldn't have done this move if they were guilty....they see being used as a scapegoat.

It will be interesting.

The House intel committee? Do you mean the one from 'sycophants R us,' with Nunes as head honcho? That one?

The Senate investigation inconclusive.

Naw, the one who did everything he could to stop the inquiry.....Mr Obstruction of Justice, Adam Schiff.

When one political party alone writes a report you know it’s biased.

Like Feinstein’s enhanced interrogation paper.

Wow. So much stupid in one place.

The Russians didn't ask for 'discovery' material. Anyone who truly wanted to understand what was going on would know this.

The Russian request for discovery material was for the last 70 years of US attempts to influence elections, attempted assignations, US led coup attempts, and all other top secret information pertaining the cold war years.

They want all of it, not just any part pertaining to this case.

So Muller said this was not necessary and asked the Judge to rule on if the US had to turn over the last 70 years of everything the CIA had done.

Along with all the names of those involved and the dates such activities took place.

And the names of all those who helped the CIA no matter in the world where they might be or might have been.

And the names of all Russian's who helped the US government in any way, shape, or form.

The Judge said it sounded good to him.

Now conservatives, who are widely known to hate America, are cheering the Russians on.

Would that make conservatives useful idiots?

Like Feinstein’s enhanced interrogation paper.

Schiff claimed 'they' were going to release 'their' findings after the final report and closing of the investigation. As far as I know, it never came out.
