Crickets

Seems like we are hearing nothing from the local LWNJ’s regarding the information on Comey that was released today.

You mean the Inspector General's report that found the only thing Comey did wrong was going to the press without permission? That report? The one that found NO credible evidence of political bias in the FBI's investigation? Read the actual report Larry, not Trump's red herring tweets about it.

It also castigated Comey for his leaking.

The scope of the IG report did not cover the whole Trump/Russia thing except for the FBI role at the beginning. All of that crap should be covered in Mueller’s investigation. Not the IG report.

I have looked at it relatively closely and it is very clear that Comey was guilty of insubordination.

Stick your head in the sand if you choose, which I am sure you will, but the report shows that Hillary’s emails were illegal.

You can pull your head out in the sunshine and read the truth rather than what the biased media is feeding you any time you choose. I hate to see you prove yourself to be one of the gullible sheeple.

Sorry that I have to go Botnst on you, but do you have a linky, nowhere did I find anything that this was mentioned in the report?

Then you obviously didn’t read the report.

You read all 500 pages? Show us where it’s mentioned

Maybe you should have used another ten minutes to read it.

from the link you provided: "Comey said the report “found no evidence that bias or improper motivation affected the investigation, which I know was done competently, honestly and independently.” In an op-ed article for the New York Times, he said the report “also resoundingly demonstrates that there was no prosecutable case against Mrs. Clinton, as we had concluded.”

and

"The inspector general reviewed Comey’s announcement in July 2016 that no prosecutor would find grounds to pursue criminal charges against Clinton for improperly handling classified information on her private email server. He also looked at Comey’s decision to inform Congress only days before the election that the Clinton investigation was being re-opened. Comey’s public announcement of findings angered Republicans, while his reopening of the inquiry outraged Democrats."

I would not use a quote from Comey as supporting evidence for Comey. He might actually care about the outcome which could bias his perspective.

It’s not about what Comey said. It’s about the article Larry found after 5 seconds to make his point. Those are the only two things mentioned about the Hillary emails. I’m sure it’s going to be crickets from now on...

Ah. My apologies then.

The chances are yuge I’ll never read the damned thing. The last gov report that I remember reading voluntarily in its entirely, including footnotes, was the 911 Commission Report. It was an excellent read. This one was a struggle just to get through the summary.

That's because it was said right after Comey did what he could to throw the election for Trump. Conservatives are just now catching up to that fact.

If you had been paying attention then you would not be wondering what was said by others.
