Who knows, maybe he did. You can watch the live version of the debate. Doesn't actually begin, the human intro anyway, until 6:40.

I've just watched a few bits of it. Not bad at all. One great thing about my iPhone is I can cue a video like this up and listen to it on one of my damned long commutes. The audio is sufficient. I have such a commute tomorrow, about 40 minutes each way.

This one, minus the worthless 6 minutes at the beginning, is about 92 minutes.

I just want to know HOW in terms of your own personal experience. Obama is not part of the equation.

Again ... crickets LOL.
The upshot of most of what Trump has done will be unknown for years. I'm not impressed with his rolling back of environmental regs. They do indeed cost something. Profitability suffers. Red China has also figured out that they can make more money if they dump poisons in rivers. We have to compete with them right? We have to stop them from raping us don't we?

I'm not pleased to see Trump buddy up to the worst autocrats on earth. Putin, Duterte, Erdogan, Kim. These are the people he's drawn to. He wants to at last be a $10 billionaire. Putin is the guy who can do it for him.

I get that Rs like Putin more than they liked Obama. Not sure their reasons for feeling that way as well grounded as they think.

I answered it and you obviously ignored it, especially since you quoted that post. You're worse than the MSM.

You didn’t answer it with anything concrete whatsoever about how your life has negatively suffered since Trump has been elected.

All you said was that the same stuff that would have happened under Obama has happened. This means that, if one reads your answer correctly, that you admit that you have not personally suffered any ill effect since Trump was elected, directly attributable to him or his policies.

Also, a deflection to Obama isn’t an answer because it is simply a deflection — a separate question. A common tactic when one has no answer to a question.

Again, taken with your Obama trajectory “answer,” proving my point that you HAVE NOT SUFFERED ANY ILL EFFECT since Trump was elected.

Again the question is — HOW HAVE YOU PERSONALLY SUFFERED, stated in concrete terms, since Trump was elected?

Is your paycheck smaller?
Did you lose healthcare or get reduced healthcare benefits if using Obamacare?
Did Trump personally or his policies raise the cost of fuel for your car?
Have you personally experienced fewer civil rights and/or less freedom than before 11/9/2016? If yes, how/what?
Are you unable to obtain a legal abortion as you could before?

Maybe I should put this another way:

What positive effects have you experienced since Trump was elected? Be honest with yourself.

Holy crap you are completely off your rocker. Calm down and try again. I gave you 2 negative things, I could give you 2 positive things. You'll use the positive things to reinforce your political beliefs while dismissing the negative things. Be honest with yourself...

Can anyone honestly quote a specific instance of how the Trump presidency has negatively affected their life, their freedom, etc.?

Remember I’m taking about concrete instances. Meaning, things like my paycheck is smaller; my relative was unable to obtain a green card; my relative was unable to cross illegally I to the US as they used to be able to do, Trump ordered the IRS to audit my income taxes; crime statistics have skyrocketed in my community.

Can anyone here honestly cite a specific, concrete example of how Trump’s presidency has hurt them since 11/9/2016?
I am not proud of how our country is being led neither nationally or internationally. His massive tax cut for the ultra rich is unfunded so I expect our national debt to rise massively.

I'm working on my 017 taxes now so in a few days I'll understand what the new tax laws mean to me.

I also worry that his careless comments could get us into an avoidable war.

And his cozyness with the Russians is not comfortable.

I haven't bothered to read any of the comments here.

But I do admit that Newt has a good point. If you have a success, and can show that you are the cause of this success, then this will go a long way to ensuring your future success.

Otherwise you are depending on the old saying that it's better to be lucky than smart.

Newt is only saying: Lay out what you are going to accomplish. Then tell how you are going to accomplish it. Don't listen to the naysayers; they are just upset they didn't think of it first.

Again: Don't just be good. Be good for something.
