What are your favorite movies?

Lets try to keep the pols out.

Mine are: Not in any order.

For drama (modern)

1. Apollo 13
2. Gladiator
3. Outlaw Josey Wales.
4. We were soldiers
5. The Spanish Prisoner (rare but awesome)
6. All of the Clancy movies.
7. Midway

Action and Sci fi

1 The Star Wars Trilogy
2. The Matrix
3 Kill Bill Volume 1 and 2

Rock n roll High School

The Wall

For all around viewing movies that I've seen over 1000 times, or it seems.

I liked, "We were soldiers". I understand the book it was made from is excellent. Was it the same title?

The title's the same, but expanded...the complete title of the book is "We Were Soldiers Once...And Young". I have a copy of the book sitting here; haven't had a chance to read it yet, though.

What happened to the other "favorite movie" thread that was started a day or two ago? My answer from that thread still applies.
