All I can say is wow, now thats bad! It looks like a Honda on the outside and on the inside like a new 7 series BMW. Not to mention it will have a MB version of I-drive! ahhhh. I like the new W211 but this thing is just ugly! Wow MB has hit new lows, not to mention the W220 will only be 6 years old! They should run the S for at least 8-10 years come on MB!

Nah, you'll never see them hold onto a model that long anymore. They sell TOO many cars when they introduce a new model. Plus with all the computer designing capablities the manufacturers have now, they can design and test the new ones alot quicker than they used to.

the w140 s-class is still on my wish list of car to get someday when I have money! I'm kinda missing the squarish, business-like design of the older benzes. w140...someday.

Anybody see Car & driver's test of the SL600 over the weekend? Whada car! V-12 with twin blowers, 0-60 in something like 3.6 secs(or was it 3.9?)

3.6 secs - Faster than any Porsche GT2 and Viper. They never said what top speed was in the 1/4 - covered 11.9 secs. Braking - 70 to 0 mph in 178 ft. Tested model: $136,870. I want one! so ya'll start saving for my Christmas present

It seems a lot of the German companies are going downhill all of the new BMW's are ugly junk, except the 3. VW and Audi are turning into the same car, but I really dislike the monster grill the new Audi's will have. Dosen't any car designer have good taste anymore? Even the new Rolls is extremly ugly.

I saw the SL600 test, I want one their so fast! Not to mention that has to be one of the nicest looking cars ever!

Well, this sort of thing makes me appreciate my car even more. That I-drive thing is just a really bad idea, because people are still paying too much attention to the road, even with the cell phones, dvd, PS2, espressos and makeup.

I-drive from a company that would never put cup holders in their cars.
