The Bourne Supremacy
The movie was disappointing for me, but it did have lots of MB's in it. The chase scene with the police pursuit E classes is kinda cool. Keep your eyes peeled, the last E in the chase must be a diesel...blue smoke. I for one could not stomach the alleged survivability of that piece of sh** taxi he was driving

...piece of sh** taxi he was driving...
Against a G-wagen no less =) In spite of a few overdone action scenes, I dig the movie, and my wife (not usually an action movie fan) did also. Seeing crazy numbers of MB's (even if they are all new MB's...) is not a bad thing =) -John |
The only problem is you leave the movie feeling like you have stared at a strobe light for and hour and fortyfive minutes. What was up with that style of filming?

what kinda of car was that taxi anyways?

Yeah, looked like someone was shaking the camera like and etch-a-sketch through every action scene. Almost hurt my eyes to follow what was going on.
That G-wagen would have barely been scratched in that chase scene. I'm not sure on the exact weight of one, but I seriously doubt ANY taxi could have enough power to push one sideways like that. I spent the whole chase scene with the E classes trying to figure out if one of them had smoked taillights while the others were stock. Looked like one of them did. |
I think the vehicle in the opening sequences that ends up in the river is an Indian G-Wagon clone. Someone on this forum in India has one.

Too bad they killed off Marie in the beginning of the film. Too many jerky camera shots but a darned fine movie anyways.
