Man, its been rainy and windy all day here in S FL... so much wind it has been blowing some water through the window edges inside.. not alot though.... but definitely feeling and water drops .,... windy as F.... and we are at the southern tip

Miami Hurricane recipe
Scale ingredients to servings 1 1/2 oz Absolut Kurant 2 parts Cranberry Juice 1 part Orange Juice 1 part Pineapple Juice Mix with ice cubes in a hurricane glass. Traditional Hurricane Splash of Grenadine 2.0 oz Orange juice 4.0 oz Pineapple Juice 1.0 shot Meyers Dark Rum Mix dark Rum, pineapple juice, and orange juice, and stir. Then splash enough grenadine to turn turn the drink red |

Well the rain is really coming down now and the winds have picked up considerably.
I heard a newscast earlier that some major insurance carriers will be pulling out of Florida after two major hurricanes. Do you think their ideal buisness plan would be to only insure areas that have fewer natural disasters? Well sure... That means that the state run Citizens Property Casualty Insurance, co. will have to pick up the slack. What fun.....On another note, the Space Coast of Florida, which is currently under attack, has not been hit by a major storm in appx 50 years...

Sounds like the big danger is going to be in the rain. I hope twenty inches of rain don't turn that lake of yours into a wide river.

3/4 " plywood was selling for 26.00 a sheet at home depot and 1/2" was going for 17.00
Shutters next year for sure....
