FreeIpods.com No BS
I know, I know. Just another internet scam. You get plenty of emails about offers like this every day. I understand. But you're wrong.
A company called Gratis Internet has started a website called "Freeipods.com" in which users sign up, complete a requirement (things like signing up for a free trial on AOL, or netscape) and get 5 friends to do the same thing, and then get an Ipod. Why would this make sense? Compaines like AOL, and Netscape pay "Freeipods.com" for every single referall, so they get kickbacks to pay for the Ipods, and plenty of profit (they get lots of people who just sign up and dont follow through). I am in no way affiliated with Freeipods.com, I just read about it in another of my car forums and decided to spread the word. Not to mention that you can do a google of FreeIpods.com and read reviews from major websites like Wired.com or CNN. If you want to see proof that this isn't just an internet scam, go here http://www.freeipodguide.com/?ops= and read up. If you decided to sign up, please use this referall link: http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=8783344 If this thread gets a chance to make it, We can start an official list of referall links in order to get people their 5 referalls. Thanks for reading, and hope you sign up!

Oh, and by the way if you want to make it easy, do what I did. For your requirement, sign up for the free trial of AOL or netscape. Wait 1-3 days to get credit (only took a day for me) and then fax them a cancel order. As long as you fax your cancel before the month-long trial is up, you never pay a dime, and you get credit for the requirement, and then all you need is 5 buddies to do the same thing. I haven't tried any of the other offers, so if anyone does please feel free to tell us how easy it was.

Please take your internet pyramid scheme to your real "friends and family." We're all already very busy buying music at the iTunes store and hacking our iPods to play .WMV files to bother getting yet another free iPod.

In the spirit of generosity, I will share with you an opportunity to help the heirs of President Abacha remove gold bullion from Nigeria. If you're interested in helping, I just need the first-class postage for 0.5 tonnes of 10 kg gold bars mailed individually from Nigeria and a safe place to store it, like your basement. If you're interested, call me at BR-549.
