I was driving by Rt 110 next to the Pentagon on the way to Northern VA for a meeting just 10 minutes before the plane hit. Got to Tysons Corners and everybody was glued to the TV, then I realized how close I was.

The History Channel had the "'9/11" report on this morning. I started watching it and the more I watched, the more ill I became. I wish this thread would end. It just makes me ill...............................

I had a trial set to start that morning. I didn't listen to any news in the morning and was playing a CD in the car on the way to the courthouse. It was over before I saw anything about it. The judge said that there was a problem with the jury. Evidently a plane had flown into the WTC and the jurors were in the jury room watching TV and were very upset. None of the lawyers or the judge knew the extent of what was going on.
Finally the judge dismissed the jury and sent us home. The radio reports were unclear so I stopped at a bar on the way back to the office. I was dumbfounded and proceeded to get very drunk. |

On That Beautiful Tuesday
Its been three years! I work for a Japanese bank, Fuji Bank, now renamed Mizuho Corporate Bank. I was at my desk at 8:46 a.m. on the 82nd Floor of Two World Trade Center. Yes, I was right there. Took the local elevator from 82 to 78 (no danger right then) and then came down the center stairwell.
Nobody in 2 WTC (aka south tower, aka the one without the antenna) needed to die. Thanks but no thanks to the blasted Port Authority. Heros, blah blah. Heros my royal a$$. At least 500 to 1,000 people died unnecessarily because of some butt head power hungry cops. Sorry, I needed to vent once more. I lost personal friends. I attended many memorials. I am still very pi$$ed off. |

I Forgot
My desk faces north, towards Central Park, but unfortunately I sat facing away from the window. I missed seeing the AA plane come in from the north because I was stuffing my face with junk and drinking my coffee.
The first impact resulted in a huge explosion that shook even number two. I saw flames shoot up the side of number one. It took 2 seconds to come to my senses. There was the natural wtf reaction, some running to see what was happening and then I became all wild. Forget about calm under fire. I was yelling at everyone on the floor, but most of all my 3 guys and 1 girl. I am proud that they made it home that day. |

I was on my way to my freinds house to walk to school.
He comes down and goes Nick come up! A plane hit a tower in NY! I did not believe him, and when I saw it I thought it was nothing big, because to tell you the truth I though it was some small plane and that it was some small tower. Later in the day I relized!!! |
