Think if all else fails you'll get a job at McDonald's? Think again!

Obviously driven be the lack of "good" help in the area How bad can it get?

Quote:
McDonald's franchisees in Cape Girardeau, Mo., Brainerd, Minn., and Norwood, Mass., recently began outsourcing their drive-thru order-taking to a call center in Colorado Springs, Colo. Thus, a Big Mac order shouted into a microphone in Missouri gets typed into a computer in Colorado (and a digital photograph of the customer's car is taken in order to reduce errors) and then clicked back to the originating restaurant's kitchen, which has the order ready in less time (30 seconds less, on average, with fewer errors) than the average McDonald's takes.

Great! We need some jobs here in Colorado!

Even crummy jobs like these! ANYTHING! Just so long as the jobs don't go overseas!

My only question is this... what happens when they make a mistake with your order? Seems like this system makes it pretty hard to correct.

But what about all of that road destruction going on thanks to Governor Owens??? I swear that every time I come up to Denver, that damn T-Rex project has more highway tore up than the last time I was there. I guess I-25 will be nice - if - that project is ever completed. This is assuming that area growth doesn't exceed the projects finished capacity before it's done.
