I did it. I found a modertor control panel I didn't know I had, clicked on it and found a tab to adminitrate user. I just typed in his name, hit submit, selected the ban option and then hit submit again. Wallah! And I thought it was all a joke . . .

Well, he called me a tool, which didn't help his cause, but an additional issue may be that he had a denigrating signature related to Brian Carlton, which apparently the mods asked him to revise, and he responded with a smartarse signature alternative. Not smart.
