They are NOT coming from us. We do not have any pop-ups. It sounds to me like you have adware/spyware on your computer.

Try ad-aware to clean out your problem; and then download and use Firefox to prevent future infestations. If you're using IE for general web-browsing, you're asking for infection.

Spybot, Adaware, Spyguard, SpywareBlaster, AVG anti-virus, HOSTS file. MSIE has some privacy blocking settings.

This website will tell all.

just went Firefox and Thunderbird myself, very refreshing not to have to close popups all the time. Feel better the less I use MS products.

Use BOTH AdAware and Spybot. For some reason, each finds things that the other overlooks.

Tried to go back to the link at the post and it wanted a subscription. Here is another news story at The Daily Breeze:

Firefox Leaves No Reason to Endure Internet Explorer

Quote:

Tuesday, the answer to IE arrived: a safe, free, fast, simple and compatible browser called Mozilla Firefox.

Firefox (available for Win 98 or newer, Mac OS X and Linux at www.mozilla.org) is an unlikely rival, developed by a small nonprofit group with extensive volunteer help. Its code dates to Netscape and its open-source successor, Mozilla, but in the two years since Firefox debuted as a minimal, browser-only offshoot of those sprawling suites, it has grown into a remarkable product.
