It's all in the tires.

Thumbs up

The 4-matic design used by MB is about the most advanced on the planet. They (MB) have made 4wd vehicles since about 1903. While tires can make a difference. any M&S rated tire will do fine most of the time, but going for a winter rated tire, such as those made by Nokian add performance and increased handling in ice, slush, snow, and other less than ideal conditions.

Unless you're gonna be breaking trails, a 4wd sedan will be fine.

Here’s a link to some cool 4wd stuff http://www.4x4abc.com/4WD101/index.html

Go for it. You'll love it!
