I've used dye sub printers for the last couple years but I venture to say that Ink has caught up with them.

I'm working with a HP Photosmart 8150 as we speak and I like it enough that I'm getting one for myself. The flexibility of it is was I'm impressed with it has built in adobe and 4 memory card slots for PC less prints.

And it's well priced.

Some stores have machines that print your digital pictures through the photo lab just like pictures from film. Some of the machines are inkjets and not as interesting but there is no wait. The ones that print at the photo lab take a little time. The machine lets you edit you pictures right there in the store before you submit them for printing. I paid 24 cents each for 4X6s recently.

You can send pic's to Walmart online and pick them up as well, but there are certain pic's Walmart won't print if you get my drift

Email them to me and I'll print'em for ya what do you want ink or dye sub? I promise I won't peek. I'm not for the "standard" they set anyway but many stores do it around here but thank GOD for digital tech.
