So much for working as a mechanic - school
 
Went by to check out the curriculum today at one of those county tech schools run by public school systems... 5 days / wk 5:30-11Pm for 18 months. damn, that sucks... I don't know what I was thinking..... :( .... That is a hell of a committment, might as well go back and get an MBA.... oh well

ANd diesel mechanic ? like 24 mths

Yup, the time passes either way. It is a question of what you want to do with your time. You can always fall back later.

You don't need to go to technical school to be a mechanic either.

I did it from 7am-1 pm fulltime and it was a tough run. That, work, two kids, and remodeling my home. Didn't sleep much. Everything seemed to suffer, and I was glad when it was over.
