When I was a college student about 16 years ago, I was fairly skinny, had kinda long hair, and wore a beard.
I was told that I look like Kenny Loggins. I personally don't think I did (at the time), but I heard that comment fairly often, so I wondered. Funny thing was, after graduating and going to Japan, I shaved the beard and cut my hair, and then told by the Japanese that I looked like Barry Manilow! It threw me into a deep depression from which I have yet to recover.

I've been told Tom Cruise before, and more recently Edward norton. Dunno if they are right, but Doesn;t really matter to me.

People keep asking me if I'm some canadian actor. I can never remember his name. However, I ask that they offer him my condolences should they meet.
I looked enough like Liam Neeson's star wars character (qui-gon jin?) five or six years ago that people convinced me to enter a look-alike contest. My hair was my own, my eyes were brown, and my beard was much more pathetic... at least he was in make-up! A guy who had a lucasfilm licensed stormtrooper costume ended up winning. How unfair!! 2nd place to a little anikin skywalker kid- figgures. no prize for 3rd... me. The prize was a thousand bucks, but I decided the hour ordeal was not worth repeating ever again in my life- so many obsessed star-wars people were freaking out I couldn't believe it!

When I was a kid, people told me I looked a lot like Kristy McNichol. In college someone told me I looked like Mariah Carey, but I think that was just a hair-based comparison. Now I don't really seem to look like anyone in particular

Over the years, I have been compared to various people....the variation probably was due to the varying status of my facial hair--clean shaven, goatee, beard, etc....
Rachel Bolan (bass player from Skid Row)...this was many years ago, of course.....Yes, it's cheesy....but at the time, we both had very long hair, and a pierced nose. The resemblance got me laid a couple of times, so I didn't mind the comparason too much! Chris Cornell (singer from Soundgarden).... We're both thin, and had the same hair, but he's much better looking than me. Eddie Vedder (singer from Pearl Jam)....I never thought so. Alice Cooper I HOPE they meant a YOUNG Alice Cooper at least, because he looks like $h!t nowadays! I hope I don't look THAT rough when I'm his age.....  Jim Morrisson (the Doors).... I dunno.... More recent comparasons: Viggo Mortensen (actor--Arragon (sp.?) from Lord of the Rings)...I see this resemblance in a few ways. Last year, right around the time the Passion of the Christ came out, I was wearing a pretty thick beard, so I was compared to Jesus a few times....but I don't think I act much like him.  I don't know what inspires people to say to me, "You look just like so-and-so" all the time, but I get it a lot. Mike

I look like a lesser actor named Joe Don Baker. It’s not just a resemblance – it’s exactly. It’s been a huge problem. In the beginning, when the original “Walking Tall” came out, it was kinda neat, but this guy always plays a heavy or a cop, but is not popular enough that people realize they’ve seen him in the movies. I’ve had drunks try to pick fights with me in bars, cause they just knew I was a cop, and people get pissed cause I wouldn’t sign autographs. There was some NY City cop show that flopped here, but was big in the UK – when going through customs in Dublin the inspector says “Chief of detectives” and I literally got mobbed – crazy stuff. All kinds of problems, so many years ago I started wearing a beard. He’s older and has gotten a lot fatter over the years so I don’t know if I’d still have the problems now, but the beard sticks.
