While not really a celebrity, there is a guy that does (or did) man-on-the-street interviews for a program on HBO that aired right before Sex and The City.

I don't know the guy's name nor the segment (which aired every week), but one of my good friends tells me he looks just like me.

I do have the sort of generic-white-guy kinda looks that every one seems to think they know me. I travel a lot on airplanes, and I get that every where I go. Everyone things they know me or have met me.

I also from time to time have people ask me if I am or was a TV news reporter, like on a local TV station.

My ex used to say I looked like Jack Nicholson, but more and more I am looking like Homer J. Simpson.

A couple of people have told me that I reminded them of Philip Seymour-Hoffman, although I have no idea why.

In my case, the Love God is more aptly portrayed by "Thing", than Lurch.

When I was younger(like 25 years ago) I walked into the office where I worked to talk to one of the secretaries. I walked in, she looked up at me, and made a comment to the gal at the other desk "Doesn't Rick look kind of like Omar Sharif?" The other gal looked at me, smiled and agreed.
I don't see it personally, but there's my story.
