need to *****

im having a really *****ty day. first i went do withdraw money from my account but my f*ckin check hasnt cleared. i needed to go take care of some stuff today. so in the middle of being pissed off i left my debit card in the atm but didnt realize it. so i decided i was gonna go over to the grocery store next to my school and get something to eat. well when i went to pay i now realize i dont have my card. im running on reserve right now and my car started to die as i sat at the light. got it to stay running and made it to the bank. now they wont give me my card cuz its not in my name (my moms car my account). so now i cant get my card. hopefully the check will have cleared when i get out of school and i can get some fuel. thanks for letting me complain

Everyone has those days.

Lately Ive been having a crappy time with my education. In my college program, if I fail one class, Im out of the program. Currenty Im not doing so well in mechanics and electricity is giving me trouble. I shouldnt be pissed off if I didnt study and got bad grades, however i dont have a real social life or anything like that because I have to do school work. Furthermore lately Ive been understanding the concepts in mechanics and electricity but now its too late. I have exams all of this week, and I can see that I will be looking for a job until next september!!

I better go and study electricity, exam tomorrow!!!

I thought I would be taking classes for the rest of my life as a voluntary lifelong learning process. Last time I took a couple classes there was so much cheating going on that I was just too disgusted to ever go back. When you bust your ass to learn and go to that exam knowing that most of the other student already have the answers to the exam questions it really takes the challenge out of it. But if you want the degree you have no choice, that is the way it is.

Thaks Luke. I am just doing 1st semester and its the basics, AC/DC, bandwith etc...

The thing is also that Im doing an aviation degree which is a just a paper after 4 years, however the real deal is that I will get a commercial pilot licence, muli engine time and night rating. This is why I am not too strong in electricity and mechanincs.

What does this license qualify you to do? Is it to work for the airlines?

Twitchkitty, the four-year degree sounds like a college degree. I have a B.S. in an aviation-related major myself.

Basically it is flight training + a 4 year degree.

I am planning on becoming a commercial pilot.

I got to Seneca College, Toronto, Canada

I asked because I saw you are in Canada and don't know about Canadian licensing.

I know there are some colleges here in the states that have programs that produce airline pilots. The two that come to mind are Embry-Riddle in Prescott, AZ and also in FL. Also at San Juan College in Farmington, NM. That program is sponsored by Mesa Air and is supposed to be easily affordable and they hire you as a commuter pilot if they like you.

Transportation jobs are not for everyone. You spend a lot of time away from home.
