Who needs a chain saw!?!?!?
Snagged from another site. I wanna see the model with snow shoes and no harvester!
The walking forest machine is Plustech's best-known innovation. The goal of product development was to create a machine that has the best possible working stability and minimum impact on the terrain. The walking machine adapts automatically to the forest floor. Moving on six articulated legs, the harvester advances forward and backward, sideways and diagonally. http://www.plustech.fi/Walking1.html

That machine looks really cool...but, all the logging machines I've seen look more like tanks then sleek, glass-everywhere, out-of-this-world, units. I think that it's time in the woods may be limited with all that glass; again it is wicked cool looking, and thanks for the post.
