I need a FREEEEE .dwg auto cad viewer.
I need to find a decent FREE viewer for viewing and printing auto cad drawings.
I travel to several different offices a day and would like to carry drawings and a free viewer to install on contractors computers that are too cheap to buy autocad lite. I don't need to change drawings but resizing to fit letter size paper and increase font size would be nice. |

Go to "autodesk.com". They are the AutoCAD company. Look for the free download viewer called "Volo-View" It'l let you view any AutoCAD file of any version, and even let you "red-line"it.

I'm playing with ProgeCad LT 2005 and A9CAD, A9CAD seems pretty easy to use except I can't figure out how to make my outside dimension lines and text black insted of light blue. I have all of the other text black but this one's trouble.

That wouldn't support native .DWG files, but you could "publish" the .DWF files from Autocad, Inventor, etc. when you want to share them with others. |

For those interested I found
ProgeCAD LT 2005 to be as full funtioned as most CAD programs I've used. |

Sorry for the late reply, just got back from Atlanta.
I go to www.hotfiles.com for shareware and free programs. You will get redirected to ZD net downloads but it's easier to remember hotfiles. Anyhow I searched for DWG viewer and this was the first of nine pages of results. Looks like what you are after. http://downloads-zdnet.com.com/Free-DWG-Viewer/3000-6677_2-10303573.html?tag=lst-0-1 Michael
