Who's trying to get Cubs tickets?

I'm trying to buy Cubs tickets online... darn this stupid "Virtual Waiting Room" that the Cubs have set up for "random" ticket sales! I have multiple waiting room windows open, and have had all day... not ONCE have I have the opportunity to buy tickets! Sheesh...

If anyone happens to be trying to get in too, see if you can't grab me a couple bleachers seats for the Cubs/Cards game on August 12th, would ya? I have to leave for Air National Guard duty in a couple hours, and I won't have computer access that whole time. I would sure appreciate any help!

What a pain in the butt this system is...

Chris

Wanna pay my airfare out there?

My friend is going in March to catch a couple of ST games... he's taking my jersey to see if he can get it signed.

I have my Rick Sutcliffe and Ryne Sandberg gloves all saddle-soaped and ready for a game... just gotta get through this system and get some ordered!

Chris

hello sammy

At least he didn't show up to O's ST in a limo...

The man better be good for 35 homers this year- the strikeouts scare me.

It's the prima donna attitude I think a lot of Cub fans are happy to see go. I also happen to think that he and Giambi in particular suffered greatly last season once they quit the steroids. They should both hang their heads in shame.

I hope Sammy can get it going in Baltimore. He can be a decent guy, but yes, the last few years he's been a bit of a jerk. I also think that he has suffered in numbers since people started expecting the Cubs to produce. I don't think he did well under pressure... maybe he'll bloom again in Baltimore. I wish the guy well, but am glad he's out of the Cubs' clubhouse. Farnsworth too. He has such potential but can be totally out of control.

I'm not sure Farnsworth will ever be more than he is. I really don't think he has the head for it. You never know though -- Randy Johnson was a late bloomer... As far as Sammy goes, I think he'd rather be a star player on a mediocre team than an average player on a great team.

As I understand it he spent a lot of time on Rush street... if he could lay off the bottle I think he could be a real bada$$. He has mean heat... but when he doesn't get his aim right or any movement on the ball it's a hit-fest.

I hated seeing Clement go. BAD loss there... oh well. Still the best starting rotation in baseball!

Gotta run... I have Guard duty this weekend and need to hitthe road. Have a good weekend all!
