the guy who I farm out my brush and undercutting jobs to has 6 of them 3 in various states of Disrepair but all of them could be made runnable in about a day. It's true. you just cant kill these things.

I have 2 C8's with the Gravely engine and a 16G rider. They 're built like they're supposed to be regardless of cost, (just like a 123 MB), and are 100% USA content, right down to the tapered roller bearings in the mower deck. Many parts are still available, right down to a new cylinder kit for a 40 year old machine- for $880.

I rebuilt the top end of my L8 last year with a used oversized piston. I don't know how it even ran before- the plug was so fouled. Now it's even more of a beast. I really hate using it though cause I get beat up so badly....

Been there ... But only while using the sulky.

As a two wheeler, I've just gotten beaten by flying debris. Powerful machines, deserving of respect!
