yeah, we got shut down this year... no team from here is in.. first time in 30y.. and yet there is like 70 or something b-ball games in town in March... madness i tell yah!...

the Chicago bracket is set up nicely for Illini to win it.. may have a bump in OK st. or AZ but i think they should be ok... NM bracket looks the most loaded.. should be some exciting games... i don't really see any other big10 teams making very far though... i'll probably cheer for the wildcats and the bearcats if i cheer anybody..

AZ and OK St. are both very dangerous teams that would match up well against Illinois. As far as Indiana teams go, I do think Notre Dame got stiffed. The Big 10 usually fares pretty poorly at the dance, even when they're strong, which they're anything but this year.

Go Illlini! I'm calling this year's team the Tangerine Dream!

Nice that they put a slumping BC team which has lost three out of their last five, four of their last eight, in the same bracket.

Man, I hope Dee Brown and Derron Williams got the "crummy games" out of their respective systems. WI was an ugly win yesterday! Hope they can snap out of it and win the bracket (and then some). Go Illini!!!

Heck -- you guys (ACC, that is) came really close to getting 3 number 1 seeds. I don't know that that's ever happened. I understand the Washington choice, but really don't think they merit that position. I'll be shocked if they survive their regional. I think the big hurdle for Duke will be the Orangemen. Good luck!

I agree...I think Wake should have the top seed over Washington.......I think the orangemen are a serious hurdle...I hope we make it.

I think the Fighting Illini are going to have a little more of an eye opener ....they have BC and then possibly Ok St. to contend with. I don't think they are used to playing teams of that caliber this season. I hope they do well though.

They played some pretty good teams this year -- they're 6 - 0 against the top 25. They kicked the snot out of Wake Forest, Gonzaga, Cincinnati and Michigan State this year. The problem is that none of that action is recent and Illinois seems to be sleepwalking lately from a lack of quality opponents. They'll either wake up or roll over -- we'll find out soon enough. I'll be surprised if BC gives them grief -- Oklahoma State is another story.....

I saw GA Tech and Duke play a couple weeks ago. Duke is really tough, and looks like a champ. team. However, Tech almost beat them and would have if not for a couple of players having miserable nights. Tech was a big surprise last year, and I can see them coming up with a few upsets. But I'm hoping that the Pittsburgh Panthers can make a run.

Notre Dame did not get the shaft; they got a rare glimpse of what it is like to be held to the same standards as every other school. I think the selection committee did a really good job this year. Couple wierd seedings, but the selections look good.

My school has a good team this year. Not men's though, it's NCAA women's basketball. Rutgers is ranked No. 3 in their regionals. I will be attending the game in Hartford on Sunday as I watch them spank the team.
