My favorite dog breed! I have a name for ours if we ever get one.

My wife is not a lover of animals (especially in the house), so it will be difficult to introduce the furry pal into our home...

I don't believe I qualify since my dog is a mixed breed - 1/2 German Shepard 1/2 Boarder Collie. She looks like a German Shepard but can catch a freezbe like a Boarder Collie. Anyway its the first dog I've owned (had cats when I was a kid since my Mom is a cat lover) and we obtained Coco from the dog shelter as a puppy. I didn't realize how much I dislike cats after owning a dog.

I don't know what is is with mixed breed dog owners but Coco was the only mixed breed dog at the several sessions of dog training class we attended.

There happens to be a German Shepard club several miles from my house. I believe they offer training and have shows.

I love German Sheperds, especially the females with their shorter hair. I want to get one once we get a house but my wife thinks they shed hair too much.
My best friend has a shepherd called Heidi who's a great family dog, and my adopted pet. If anything happens to them I get the dog apparently!

We've got 2 german dogs, although they are dachshunds...clever little bastards too i might add. The female one hides/buries things, so I'll find buried treasure when im putting on my jeans in the morning... her bone, her toys, her dog cookies, anything really. Got a pic of the male the first day we got him...on the 300D of course.

I prefer the German Shorthair Pointer...I have a female 8 yrs olds and is the best dog I have owned...............she was a good hunter now all she lives in the house with us.......

I could rave on about my dog.....but it would take too much time ...

My favorite too. It's everything a dog SHOULD look like.

We have one left of the the three grown ones we had. She'll be 15 this year with no signs of slowing down. We had 7 at one time if you include the puppies we unexpectedly had in the middle of the night next to our bed.

The cutest and prettiest pure bred shepherds I've ever seen.
