I can't help you out with service in Minn. but I really prefer a pager to a cell phone - gives me options about callbacks and if you can get it slim enough it becomes your watch, news outlet, alarm clock...

I carry a pager.....but its company provided...so don't know about costs.....

Plus side is you use it like a call screener...you call them if and when you are ready.............

you should be able to get one with local coverage for around $100.00 for the pager with a year of service.

If you go nationwide service they cost more.

If you want a tiny pager there is a company that makes them called apollo I think, they can be programmed to just about any frequency and cap code.

Don;t know about your area, but in los angeles, That would be the cost.

Howdy Kuan,
I also have a pager that the company provides. I find that it has better reception that cell phones. Plus it takes a beating the cell phones can't.

I'm gonna be in the middle of BFE where I found out my cel phone doesn't work. Lovely. That's why I'm thinking about getting a pager. Maybe an alphanumeric so I can get messages. Hrm...
