Thumbs up New search engine - Snap.com

SNAP.COM is an interesting new search engine. It looks promising as a competitor to Google.

The search changes with each letter you type in.

Another unique feature is the way they handle advertising. You only pay for your ad if the customer buys from you. With Google you pay for the ad if the customer clicks through to your website. Very efficient!

Pretty cool: I tried a couple of searches that Google wouldn't narrow down enough for me without doing some playing with search terms - they came right upon the snap site.

If this isn't too ancient news, given the speed of the interweb . . .

www.dogpile.com is an interesting search engine site too. If found responses to searches that Google did show.

Love Dogpile - it is all I use when searching for something odd, as I am prone to do.

I like dogpile's links to maps and reverse phone/address lookups.
