Foggers..do's and don't's.

Hi people...I couldn't be bothered to go to work this morning....
so I have been thinking of bombing my motor home.

Had indications of field mice behind the bedroom walls.
There is also small paw prints in the engine bay over the air filter cover.

So....I thought I'd go to ACE and buy some Foggers.

Then I thought...Wait up ! I could ask you lot too...

So waddaya fink ? Cheers...

I've heard of foggers for bugs, fleas, etc. but haven't heard of it's use for the furry critters. My concern would be that once dead . . . how do you handle the smell from the dearly departed? Trapping would seem to be a better answer, then fog for the fleas, mites, etc. that hitchhike on the rodents.

Sticky'uns! Yup, work great and you can shape them to allign with appropriate runs.

The sticky traps you don't use for mice are wonderful for babysitting toddlers. Keeps'em where you want'em. Also help keep diapers up. (I'm kidding!).

It still brings back images of our golden retriever with a glue board on the side of his face, after he pawed under a cabinet to get it because we used a single cocktail peanut to bait it. A lot of fur got snipped that day.

we saw your insensitive post about smelly dead people !

Okay....I have had traps out for two months...no more mice, since last week.
So.......they are all trapped now, it seems.

This M/H has a lot of under floor storage.......do I set off a fogger under the floors and how incendiary are they ?

Those things are flamable. Every now and then I read about some dimwit who sets off 20 at a time and then the house blows up.

Also, I think I would be concerned about staining in close quarters like a motor home.

Use with caution.

Whatever you do, don't use a glue trap!!! They can be messy! A friend of mine used one once and the mouse chewed his own front legs off to try to get loose. Not only was it gross (blood everywhere), it was cruel to boot!
