Decided to bring a good topic up so we can have some fun... Post your favorite quotes. Could be funny or serious... political or what not. I will post some in the morning since I am too tired right now and have no idea why I am up this late. Hopefully when I check this thread out in the morning I will have something to look at.

I don't know about favorite but there's one in latin (which I don't speak) that translates in English to, "Is that a scroll under your toga or are you just happy to see me?" I don't think it's a quote per se but someone must have said it.

I like the quote attributed to Winston Churchill on ending a sentence with a preposition. It goes something like, "This is the sort of English up with which I will not put."
