Tool boxes

I need a stand-up tool box with about 6 or 7 drawers. The only three brands I have seen in my price range are Craftsman, Husky, and Kobalt. Craftsman is slightly more expensive than Husky. Kobalt is much less expensive than the others. To my eye, looking at them empty in the store, I don't see much difference between them.

Any recommendations?

Try opening/closing all the drawers and/or doors, get a feel for the smoothness and how well you think they've been put together.

Never heard of Kobalt, never knew anyone who owned a Husky. The basic Craftsman ones aren't bad.

Think about how much weight each of the drawers will potentially hold. If the tools are not too heavy than pretty much any box will do; but, if there will be many tools in each drawer than seriously consider a box with ball bearing slides. All of the "top-end" boxes have ball bearings, really nice, but more expensive.
