I have no idea quite where you'e going there. I imagine you can claim whatever label makes you happy, but you may have to work that out with the folks doling them out. As I said, I'm just glad I don't have to pay tuition.

I expressed preference, not happiness.

My preference IS happiness, but I'm funny that way.

............you borrowing expressions from the attorney?

The other venue loves to label folks as a fascist or a Nazi. Usually when they run out of a better argument. You have a habit of doing that, you know.

You have posted your opinions, and scripture. Nothing else. Not one single link to any expert sources or legitimate research, or any quote from anyone recognized as an authority on any subject, or anything else of any practical use in a debate for that matter.

I'm really not trying to make an enemy out of you....In fact, I actually AGREE with a lot of what you've said on certain subjects..... I'm just asking you to SUPPORT your arguments with something besides your opinion, and scripture....because the "other side" WILL. both of which mean very little to most of us in these discussions.

Ok, let me see if I can make it clear.

First, they brought the Bible into it, so it does matter who said it first, I mean, if two people are fighting, does it matter who threw the first punch? YES

Now, someone claimed that they dont like the way Christians dont even follow what their book says, the Bible.

I may have made a mistake as to whether or not this person isnt, or claimed to not be a Christian. If thats the case, then I am wrong on that account. But the rest of the arguement would still be logical if the person isnt a Christian.

He wants Christians to follow the dictates of the Bible. Since the Bible tells Christians that non Christians cant understand Gods word, then a Christian, in doing what HE WANTS THEM TO DO, follow the words of the Bible, will not believe HE KNOWS what the Bible wants Christians to do, hence his opinion on how Christians should act is wrong in Christians minds.

Now, if he is a Christian, I do believe there is a passage about a "speck in ones eye, and a plank in ones own eye".

Its a matter of logic, not Biblical interpetation. I do not get into debates of Biblical interpetation, its an utter waste of time, even more so than these war topics.

nice accusation, care to back it with some quotes??

There is also a difference between being confident in expressing what you do know, and knowing everything. There are plenty of topics I dont get into, unlike you, the true know it all.

Jesus said the old testament is as legitimate as anything He says also. Not one part of it is to be disregarded He said.

So, go read the OT, read what it says about Babylon. In Gods harshest words he referred to her as a prostitute.

A hypocrite is one who claims someone else must do something, but they dont have to. Yes, Jesus was harsh on hypocrites, so, you think he preached all love, or as you say above, was he also harsh on some? Was Jesus ever violent? Was the OT ever violent? Did God makes laws that required som violence? Did God endorse using violence to protect oneself? the answers are all YES.

No, Im saying if it is wrong anywhere, other than where it is simply recording history, then its not the word of God. Some of it can be inaccurate however, as some of it is merely recording history.

I will work it out for you. I apologize for any mistakes. He made a statement from the bible which may or may not be true. Instead of examining whether his interpretation of the bible was correct or not you simply fall back to a blanket, "You cannot tell me what the bible says because you aren't a Christian." You then back up this silly argument by proposing that the bible is infallible (proposition 1), that to state anything from the bible is correct is to accept the infallibility of the bible (proposition 2), the bible says that unbelievers cannot understand the bible and that you shouldn't listen to them (proposition 3) then you say if 1 AND 2 AND 3 AND whatever any unbeliever says to do from the bible == false so there is a contradiction and thus cmac is wrong.
Yet, when I said "why did YOU guys bring it up?", you respond by saying, "I didnt bring it up", which I never claimed. I intentionally used the term YOU GUYS because I dont remember which individual did it, only that it is one of those who almost always or generally argues from the liberal point.

So, you werent even able to respond to that one sentence correctly.

Regarding the other issue you brought up here, I have responded to that several times. Non believers cannot tell a believer how to act, the believer is instructed by the VERY BOOK THE NON BELIEVER WANTS US TO FOLLOW, to not listen to the unbeliever, so by not listening to him, I'm doing exactly what he wants me to do.

Ok. I am a non-believer. The bible says be fruitful and multiply. You are not to listen to me you hear?
