The other venue loves to label folks as a fascist or a Nazi. Usually when they run out of a better argument. You have a habit of doing that, you know. |

First, they brought the Bible into it, so it does matter who said it first, I mean, if two people are fighting, does it matter who threw the first punch? YES Now, someone claimed that they dont like the way Christians dont even follow what their book says, the Bible. I may have made a mistake as to whether or not this person isnt, or claimed to not be a Christian. If thats the case, then I am wrong on that account. But the rest of the arguement would still be logical if the person isnt a Christian. He wants Christians to follow the dictates of the Bible. Since the Bible tells Christians that non Christians cant understand Gods word, then a Christian, in doing what HE WANTS THEM TO DO, follow the words of the Bible, will not believe HE KNOWS what the Bible wants Christians to do, hence his opinion on how Christians should act is wrong in Christians minds. Now, if he is a Christian, I do believe there is a passage about a "speck in ones eye, and a plank in ones own eye". Its a matter of logic, not Biblical interpetation. I do not get into debates of Biblical interpetation, its an utter waste of time, even more so than these war topics. |

So, go read the OT, read what it says about Babylon. In Gods harshest words he referred to her as a prostitute. A hypocrite is one who claims someone else must do something, but they dont have to. Yes, Jesus was harsh on hypocrites, so, you think he preached all love, or as you say above, was he also harsh on some? Was Jesus ever violent? Was the OT ever violent? Did God makes laws that required som violence? Did God endorse using violence to protect oneself? the answers are all YES. |

So, you werent even able to respond to that one sentence correctly. Regarding the other issue you brought up here, I have responded to that several times. Non believers cannot tell a believer how to act, the believer is instructed by the VERY BOOK THE NON BELIEVER WANTS US TO FOLLOW, to not listen to the unbeliever, so by not listening to him, I'm doing exactly what he wants me to do. |
