Too many chargers, getting ridiculous

I'm packing and I've gotta pack chargers for the following:

Laptop, bike light, Ipaq, video camera, celphone.

That's five chargers. Anyone have a solution?

Other than standardizing connectors with variable output or smart chargers no.

@ home you can get a variable output charger and label the ones you need.

It might be redundant but it might save someone a few bucks.

Be really careful to make sure the polarity is correct when labeling. Some of the multi output DC converters don't have well marked polarity on the transformer or the plug tip due to manufacturers not changing their moldings as frequently as they should the time of production. I was in a rush once and hastily plugged a casette player and POP it was toasted

I've got

A Cell phone, Video camera, portable DVD player, cordless drill, battery screwdriver, FRS radios, rechargable camping lantern, kids electric car, AA battery charger, that I can think of off hand.

I just have a corner in my dining room next to a plug they all live, then a spot in my garage for the tool chargers.

Yes, if I've got 5 wal-warts I've got 500, all of various voltages, amperages, frequencies and current types...

What uses 400hz 28VAC? :)

Jim Anderson 05-27-2005 01:10 PM

Wall-wart, I like that.

I use a cheep extention cord the plug all the warts into.
