Just thought I'd introduce myself..

Hi,

I've been a member of bnzsport.com and benzworld.org for around a year now. I can't believe I never found this forum until now! I recognize some of your names from those other sites. There seems to be a plethora of information here, but hopefully I can contribute! Here are some pictures of my little 300ce:

Howdy.

Nice looking car. One thing right off the bat; I've only been here a few months so I'm not yet totally up on how the software works, but your field is too wide. The right side of your text is cut off and I can't get it to slide over. It's odd, because I've not seen that before.

Just thought I'd tell you since you just posted about 1/2 hour ago and if you see this tonight, you might be able to fix it in time for the crowd of people tomorrow.

Edit: Well this is weird. When I first tried to read your post, I couldn't find the left to right arrow at the bottom -- I tried but it wouldn't come up. Then, I post my message, and it pops up.

So at least one can see the whole thing but it would be easier if you know how to fix it. Wish I could give you an idea how, but I can't.

BTW, did you take those in Magnolia? (20 year Seattle resident)

Welcome Big. Nice looking car.

If I were you I'd take down the photos and blank-out your license number. There are stories of folks who've come to grief from that.

Best wishes and looking forward to hearing from you.

Thanks very much for your comments. Yeah, I didn't even think about the license plate number. Unfortunately I'll have to wait to fix that until tonight cuz my employer blocks my ability to ftp files to my server

cmac, good eye! I definitely don't live in Magnolia (I live in Fremont), but yeah. I took those just up the hill from the Magnolia bridge.

Yeah, Ashman is one of those guys I recognize from other forums (bnzsport to be exact).

Oh man, that IS a nice part of town. I, or rather my company, built a big house on Perkins Lane back in '93/'94, IMO one of the most exclusive streets in the city: right on the bay but w/o the railroad tracks which are an everpresent feature on just about all of the other bayfront areas in the city.

I lived on the corner of Woodland Pk and 36th for a couple of years in an old storefront I'd converted into a live/work type space. I used to like to walk down to the Fremont Bridge and back. Moved away in '94. (Where's that smiley face with a couple of tears rolling down the cheek? )

Things have sure changed (surprise, surprise). That new PCC in Fremont is pretty nice. I like Whole Foods here in Cal all in all, bit spendy, but I hope that shiny new WF in Seattle doesn't hurt PCC too much, I mean free market competition, go for it, WOO-HOO and all, but I have fond memories of PCC myself.

On the scrollbar, I'm not sure why, it was hidden for a moment for me, but I point it out only so that people will like reading your posts more in the future, or at least, have an easier time taking them in quickly.

Cheers,

Greetings Pete.

Always nice to see another person from Seattle on this site.

Great car. I've seen it in town before. Did you put the euro lights on?

Yeah, I put TYC Euros on there. I also put the chrome tape inside of them (on the silver-painted plastic parts) to give them a more reflective look. That's crazy that you've seen my car before!

If you pull a bank job, don't use that car. Borrow a Taurus.

lol I am still a moderator, just not on the od section...

Yeah I remember when Bigpetes car was still stock...

IT has changed a lot since then...

in case some of you hadn't noticed, the black plastic trim around his indicators and tail lights has been color matched tot he car, which I think looks great.
