I like fresh figs....but not fresh or dried dates...

I used to like dates, then didn't have dates for a long time. Now, recent events will allow me to start having dates again. I'm actually looking forward to dates.

I love figs... I love dates... I dont know though, we had dates a while back, are they supposed to be really sweet? Or was that added to them by the manufacturer/packager?
