Water Pump R/R on Mercedes SLR
Thought that would get some attention
 I had the opportunity to sit inside and SLR a couple of days ago in Chicago at Bentley Gold Coast. The car was for sale for $570,000....only 90K above sticker or so I was told.....What a beautiful car...

I hope you were able to wash off all the slime that you'd inevitably pick up going into that place.
Great car though. Got to look in while we did the pre-delivery inspection on one. Had the big guys from MB out overseeing the process. That is one cool piece of machinery. Now if they only offered a standard transmission...

They had one at the main dealership in Toronto awaiting delivery a few months ago when the local MBCA club went there. More fantastic in person than in pictures. Couldn't sit in it though, as it was already bought and paid for by someone other than me.

Be afraid, be very afraid.
They are on the brokering black list by almost every manufacturer for the vehicles they sell. They can sell you a "new" vehicle that has in in service date from whenever they bought it. You've got 600 miles on a car and only two years left on your warranty. Some of the business practices they allegedly engage in could be classified as "shady". I personally would not trust them. Now watch as they chase me down and sue me.
