The grass field they park on at the track can easily have a foot drop from left rear to right front when they set up. The place they put it in slopes down from left side to right and back to front. Sorta like stepping out of the door into a foxhole. Still, it's a neat RV. My poor little (27') trailer has like a 30 gal fresh water and 18/25 gray/black tanks. Their tanks are all in triple digits I think.

OK now I am somewhat "bus" smart  It's an MCI Cursader II. Put 19 # of 134 in it and came southbound. Top speed is 82 :( with a 6V92 Reli-built Detroit with 60K on the build.

Why the frown? 82 mph is a great top end for a big ol' coach. Mine hits the engine governor at 60. Needless to say, a "new" differential will be in order for mine, and my goal is to have mine top out around 80. Then I can run 65 comfortably.

I guess it should be re-quoted to say "keeping it at 82". I was just putting the trans in drive. But learned afterwards you need to keep the RPM's up by selecting other ratio's. When I picked it up they said it was goverened at 60. Then it was somewhat obvious passing everyone at 60 - took out the old GPS and verified the spedo is registering slow

I dunno anything about busses. Is that a good value? What kind of shape is it? What budget do you have in mind for it?

I think so - that's why I jumped on it. Factory rebuilt motor 6v92 with 60K is worth about $8K alone. The entire interior....yes all 49 seats are completely re-upholstered making the inside a 9 out of 10. I don't know much about busses either, found an old Trailways driver at the Moose Club Saturday and made him show me a few things  Going to put 8 alluminum wheels and new shoes on it tomorrow (already had them), fix an air leak on the tag axle, change oil, trans fluid and there is really nothing else to fix.....yet :D

If "Blue" won't lift her it can't be done! Pic of inside also!

Assuming you are going to transform it into an RV, have you considered what you are going to do with all those seats?

If they are newly redone, maybe you can sell them on Ebay.

Is this your plan? Or do you plan to use it commercially some how?

PS: I know it is a nosey question, so feel free to ignore it ;)

Blue Haired ladies to the boats :D

RONI has been met. The bean counting department has informed me that the bus has earned it's keep and I have met my Return on Net Investment or the potatoes - now the gravy ;)
