Anybody else climb a pole?
Has anyone else here on this forum ever climbed a telephone pole only using gaffs? It's alot harder than it looks.
I just started a new position with Verizon and the 1st week was learning how to climb a pole using only a gaff on each foot/leg. It definitely lets you know you're out of shape.

I had to do it in the Army, the best tip I can give you is, when you're falling just let go, don't grab on guys have lost their nuts.
