anyone use a CCM hands free kit?

Does anyone have experience using a CCM brand cell phone hands free car kit? It's the only system I've seen that uses the phone's headset jack instead of the clumsy clamp-on mic over the receiver. It's also one of the few that isn't RF. RF devices don't work well enough for me in MBs with the tuner in the trunk. I wish it had a big glaring mute button so I don't have to futz with the phone's mute feature.

Thanks,
Sixto

My new cell phone came with a handsfree bluetooth thing-a-ma-jog that you hook onto your ear. Works great!

How does it transmit the signal to the radio? Does it have a self contained speaker unit?

I used it with my former LG flip phone. The speaker/mic system is "so-so" since it's not really a duplex system (mic circuit will cut out speaker circuit). People had a hard time hearing me, so I plugged in the condensor mic and ran it closer to me on the A-Pillar. I probably wouldn't buy another.

the CCM kits are horrible. I use a full install professional motorola kit with my motorola phone and it works great.

The CCM units have their own speaker.
