CD Burning software
Is there any cd burning software out there where you can alter the sound of the tracks? Right now I use NERO but it works like the others just by burning the tracks as they are.
Anything out there where I can alter the bass/treble or things like that on the cd tracks being burned?

There's Nero Wave Editor. I believe it's a free add-on.

I'm using cheapware (under $10) that I got to transfer vinyl to digital for the same purpose. Readusting EQ and sound profiles is fun, like taking a relatively sterile track and putting it in "small club" or "opera hall" mode. Tedious work, but I get to listen to the old songs while doing it.

I just got some "cheapware" off e-Bay that lets me not only manipulate EQ settings to .wav tracks, but a number of effects are included including adjustments of pitch, speed, and tempo, as well as normalization (averaging out the low and high volumes in a selected passage).
I just finished recording samples of a variety of voice tracks from a weekend soccer tournament for my daughter's team, and laid the voiceovers to a CD track to complete our official "fight" song. When you're done, you can convert the finished product to mp3 as well.

Mine was "Audio Cleaning Lab 2004" from Magix, and it was discounted down to $9.95 at CompUSA, since 2005 was on the shelves.
