I switch brands every few months, I've always been like that. Right now it's all about the Parliment Lights.

I second the parliament light vote. My girlfriend says they taste like newspaper, but She smokes marlboro menthol ultra lights, which taste like envelope glue, so who is she to judge?

Another one of my favorites is Kamel reds. Yes it's Kamel with a K. I can't really find them by me anymore though.

Right now the humidor has a few Cohibas in it.

I smoke pipe Peaches and Cream tobacco.
I love a good cigar. Berings are my favorite.
My Dad gave me my first cigar when I was in the eighth grade hoping I would puke my guts out. Sorry Dad but your plan didn't work. I smoked it just like you and loved it. When the butt of that first cigar was so short it was too hot to hold I scratched the ashes out and ate the butt. Didn't puke either. That was about 34 years ago.

You ain't got nothin' on me. In the late 80s, I went through this phase after I'd gotten into espresso where I'd buy European and Egyptian smokes, non-filter, with an oval shape. Strong tobacco, and around $2 to $3 a pack -- high for the time. Later, I got into Gauloises bulk tobacco (no chemicals), rolled with super thin rice papers, oh I was a healthy smoker all right, damn stuff smelled almost like a cigar. That's part of why I did it I think -- to be as macho, or perhaps, as irritating as possible. Strange.

Haven't smoked in 12, 13 years, lessen you count whacky tobacky.

I use espresso in my Norelco coffee pot.
$20 and I've had it since the early 90's.
Here is where I get my coffee...
http://www.portorico.com
Their weekly sale coffee this week is my fave,
French Italian Espresso reg $5.99 lb. on sale for $3.99 lb.
SWP Decaf French Italian Espresso reg $7.99 lb. on sale for $4.99 lb.
Here is their description:
"A secret recipe of 5 coffees from Central & South America, as well as Africa, it's the same mixture as our Cafe Blend but roasted to a full espresso. A favorite of our older Italian customers, this blend yields a strong, dark espresso with thick, dark brown crema."
If you're UPS zone 1 or 2 from NYC you can get coffee that was roasted the morning before you receive it.... for less than most supermarket beans that are ... how old??

Why Smoke?

You're paying a big multinational corporation to slowly make you sick. Makes absolutely no sense. Took me 20-something years before I finally got it.

I'm afraid I've turned into the type of person that I once hated, a militant EX -smoker. Once I quit, two other people at work quit with me, so that was pretty cool. I had to get a new car because I couldn't stand the smell of the old one. My house smells better, but I had to get some new furnishings, scrub down the walls, have the carpet cleaned a couple times. Fabreeze can only do so much.

But to keep with the topic of the thread, I smoked Doral Full Flavor 100's and Marlboro Red 100's. A pack a day.

Oh man, I have a love-hate relationship with coffee. I've quit the smokes, but I keep coming back to coffee. I think I'm better off w/o it but it is such a charming habit. I just wish it was as much fun to drink wheat grass juice.

God only know how much I spent at espresso joints in Seattle.
