This is a stage, with an audience!

Next time you start a thread, or post in a thread, look and see the numbers of people who have viewed your thread. It's no wonder why some fellows member become to be known as head-strong, motivated, about posting! They have an audience out there of several hundred, even in the thousands, sometimes! When blundering relentless political drivel increases, so don't the number of spectators! For some, show time starts at 8am, and continues through the morning, through lunch, and throughout the remainder of the afternoon until it is time to go home, 5 working days a week! Evening also sees no break and continues through until bed time. Even weekends don't get a break! Response times are usually within seconds!

Is this an obsession, or sickness?

I'm finding myself falling into it too, with over a thousand posts, as I have more free day time, now that my job has ended for a couple of months. Mow the lawn, water the garden, and Open Discussion. I'm questioning my sanity!

It's definitely an obsession, now. When I get to 5,000 posts it will be categorized as a sickness.

It takes time away from my business when I am in the office and I have difficulty in leaving the keyboard.

You may very well be insane, but on the bright side you have excellent taste in cars.

Maybe, but the nature of my job leaves me parked right in front of a computer with internet access, and plenty of dead time while I wait for something to break. When I'm home, I barely have the time to empty my inbox.

I participate in a number of forums, and I have no idea what my total number of posts across all these forums must be, but I'd guess that it is in the thousands...

SWTSMBO get's angry because I spend so much time "researching" on line.

Since there is nothing I crave more than total anonymity I shall endeavour to refrain from responding to silly political threads and restrict myself to those issues directly affecting me and my cars, since to do otherwise would obviously garner unwonted attention and perhaps affix my online persona with an arbitrary label abhorrent to my ethos..........

Or whatever........................

I think BusyBenz is referring to me........

Its neither a sickness nor an obsession....

Its a mandate to counter rampant liberalism whereever it hides...
