Gotta a new toy today (AR-15)

Colt AR15 HBAR Match Grade. New in box. A guy owed me some money so I settled for this, I'm into long range guns so these don't get me too excited but I can teach mom the ropes before she deploys.

Is the little lady gonna use that tool to enforce the "no shoes in the house" policy? [as per pic]

Very cool!

You should put a gun rack in the Ferrari.

HaHa I was wonder who would bust me on that one! There's no doubt that you run in in out of the house like I do so the "no shoes" policy is strictly enforced around here by the wife. Mom has a full time maid so we do pretty much whatever they want over there.

No need the 360 Modena has a nice bench in the back that holds the guns just fine

Funny story about an AR-15.

I'm not into guns, but my best friend years ago got one.

Not for any nefarious reason, but because he "could". He got the instructions on how to convert it to full auto.

So, up at his brothers farm decided to try it out. Slight problem though, don't know if he ever did resolve it. The alteration did put it into full auto, but for some reason it wouldn't release.

So once you pulled the trigger, it didn't stop until the cartridge was empty. Fortunately he had a short clip in at the time, maybe twenty rounds, darn near destroyed the tree he had the target on !!!

Well I shot it today and it brought back the wonderful memories of carrying those things for a decade. I need to get some 30 round clips the 5 shot are a waste of time.

Anywhoooo it shoots sweet I think I'm going to keep it around so the wife has some serious firepower when I'm away.

When I went in we had the M-14. Sweet rifle. Didn't fire an M-16 until I joined the reserves 5 years later. M-16 was okay. The reserves sucked. I let Uncle keep both and give them to somebody more deserving.

I would like to add an M-14 to the collection, those babies are still used today by SF.
