01 Dodge Ram van - removing headlight knob
 

Can anyone help me with removing the headlight switch knob on a 2001 Dodge Ram van? I can't tell if it pulls off, twists off, has a set screw, etc.

On a Dodge I think you have to replace the Truck assembly. :D

It could be that type of switch. I haven't found a way to get my hand to the switch from below but it might be possible to remove the fuse block through the access panel at the end of the dash and get to the switch that way.

I can get to the switch by moving the fuse block out of the way. I can't have my hand on the switch and see the switch at the same time. I feel a springy thing at the bottom of the switch. I pushed, pulled and pressed but the knob wouldn't come off. Can you put into words how to release the knob?

Thanks! I don't know why I thought the release was below. The top is just as easy to reach through the fuse access port.
