The Ugliest New Car Award Goes TO>>>>>

The New 5-Series from BMW. Wanna be on the Design Team for Barvarian Motor Works? Our team has decided to throw out good looks and class with the redesign. Actually, we lost our entire design team so we went to the gutters looking for a few crack-addicts and decided to let them give it a shot. And boy did they.....

The crack addicts first learned on the scions.

Never a shortage of ugly new cars or stupid turds to buy them. Aztek is history, so doesn't count, although the Buick Ron-day-voo (it's cousin) isn't a whole lot better. Fer sure Hondoid Element and TOYOTA (note: "car" is a TOYOTA!) Xb. Any Humper is "on the list", at least the Humvee has a purpose, the Humper 2 and Humper 3, nah, waste of sheetmetal.

I still think the Toyota Echo is #1 if not in the top 5.....

Aztek - no way around it.

Ugly sure, but the commercial for it is great. They use the song 'Dust in the wind' to push the car. I wonder what's going to happen in 20 years when products will be pushed with Rap 'music'. I shudder at the thought. Maybe I'll be dead or have alzheimers then and I won't care. :)

top gear had an ugly car discussion in one of the episodes. those that you guys mentioned are far from the ugliest.

Honus 07-29-2005 09:33 AM

One's opinion about whether a car is ugly can be affected by how well the car works. As a Subaru fan, I was disappointed when I saw a picture of the Tribeca, then I drove one. Now, I kind of like the way they look.

Whenever I read, "Tribeca" my minds translates it to eitehr, "Trifecta" or "Treblinka." I couldn't own anything that pulled either image into my mind.

Like being a Spanish speaker and owning a "Nova."
