He won the time trial. He is THE winner of the TDF.

Now he can spend some quality time away with Sheryl Crow.

Nice picture, from last year.

Did you see the time trials today? Lance was a machine. What a wonderful display for retirement.

"Bye-bye, boys. Here's a little something to remember me by."

Ohhh yea, prove it. ;) and if you can't its a lie!

I can't prove it, but I heard that Narwhal was a nom de guerre for Lance Armstrong.

Botnst 07-23-2005 06:22 PM

At the end of the race that he totally dominated today, Lance was greeted by his kids, his Mom, his girlfriend, and his wife. And he's got ONE TESTICLE! Another would be superfluous, wouldn't it?

he actually got hassled all along the route but much less then in the years past.. he has been a bit better about interviewing in french, etc.. they are probably glad of his retirenment too.. it won't be a frenchmen to win another one for a while but now they think they have a chance... we'll see

Lance really smoked everybody today.. good for him.. it's kool since he hasn't won a stage this year, before today. he really put the hammer down.. almost doubled the gap. that's how you go out on top. the ride to paris should be pretty special.. i hope i don't forget to record it..

There has not been a Frog, I mean a French person, winning the TDF since 1985. Even with Lance out I don't think there will be another French person winning the TDF for a long time. Basso and Ullrich are still top contenders for next year's TDF. And there are a bunch of Spaniards waiting to take over where Indurain left off.

Sheryl Crow may look rough, but remember all she ever wants to do is have some fun...until the sun comes up. Not a bad deal for Lance if you ask me.

I guess you boys down in the Deep South look at things differently.

Here in the Left Coast, however, we wouldn't toss her back in the pond.

She would be considered a nice catch. :sun_smile

Senator Kerry was all over the thing yesterday, suggesting that Lance would make a good politician. Given his and Crow's politics, I wouldn't be suprised if the Democrats drafted him to run for something, especially if the win the Whitehouse next time. Ambassador to France? They (other administrations, not just Demos) have done far worse.

It must really hit the French right where it counts to lose to a Yank. And to make it worse, a Yank with only one testicle.

The Uni-Baller strikes again!
