S-Class Front Fascia Question

Hi all.. A friend purchased a 2000 S-Class not long ago. The front wasn't in the greatest shape and he's about to replace the covers on the headlights and the lower part of the front fascia. He asked if it would be feasable to replace these parts with the newer pieces. He's not internet saavy and asked me to find out for him.. Do the parts match up? He feels that if he's going to replace them anyway, he might as well use the newer parts as he likes the look better (transparent material over the headlights, mostly).

Thanks in advance...
