Anyone having trouble w/Windows XP..??
I received an email today warning of bad windows XP problems! I have had trouble all day with my PC, including posting responces............Anyone else?

No problems here either.... Might want to run Ad-aware and/or the microsoft antivirus program (it's still free from MS)

There is a nasty thing going around called Winfixer. It takes over your browser and actually puts shortcut icons to various websites on your desktop. After trying all kinds of virus stoppers and fixes that didn't work, I had to reinstall Windows.

Best thing to do is run the online Security Scan and Virus Scans from Symantec.
Just go to www.sarc.com and click on the "Check for Security Risks" icon and run each of the scans. They'll let you know if you've gotten nabbed by any of the recent nasties going around. Dave
