I know he had a 63 230sl but i dont recall what these parts are. he had several older sl's and coupes over the years if you have a clue can you please lend it to me :) |
Just looks like factory carpeting to me...
|
yes they do look like OEM carpeting but they are attached to wood with clips and brackets
my guess is they go in the boot or trunk to cover the wheel wells or simular. But i dont know what year or model they go to :( i have some mats too that look like they go with them http://img.villagephotos.com/p/2003-...7/DSC00860.JPG |
It looks to me like those are the covers for the rear shelf i.e. behind the seats.
|
thats what i was thinking but i wasnt sure thanks
|
Not an expert on this.. but the 1st carpet picture looks like it would fit to the side of the cosole of a w114/5
|
im told its a parcel shelf
I was going to sell it on ebay any idea what a set of these are worth 1963sl? there is a guy in austraila offering me $50 for the set i think but I would think that OEM interior parts in good shape for a Sl would be more valuble. im clueless I dont want to gouge the guy but i dont wnat to give away anything either |
I sold the set on ebay for $170 :)
thanks guys |
